Blessed [be] the LORD, For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city!

For I said in my haste, "I am cut off from before Your eyes"; Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications When I cried out to You.

[But] certainly God has heard [me;] He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

Blessed [be] God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!

For the LORD hears the poor, And does not despise His prisoners.

Let heaven and earth praise Him, The seas and everything that moves in them.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, [And] He saved them out of their distresses.

Oh, that [men] would give thanks to the LORD [for] His goodness, And [for] His wonderful works to the children of men!

I love the LORD, because He has heard My voice [and] my supplications.

Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call [upon Him] as long as I live.

I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me [and set me] in a broad place.
