But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"

So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him, But their fate would endure forever.

Happy [are] you, O Israel! Who [is] like you, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of your help And the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, And you shall tread down their high places."

Then David said to the young man who told him, "Where [are] you from?" And he answered, "I [am] the son of an alien, an Amalekite."

The LORD has sworn by His right hand And by the arm of His strength: "Surely I will no longer give your grain [As] food for your enemies; And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, For which you have labored.

"When you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to defile it -- My house -- and when you offered My food, the fat and the blood, then they broke My covenant because of all your abominations.

Rebuke the beasts of the reeds, The herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples, [Till everyone] submits himself with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples [who] delight in war.

"You have also delivered me from the strivings of my people; You have kept me as the head of the nations. A people I have not known shall serve me.

The foreigners fade away, And come frightened from their hideouts.
