To the Chief Musician. On the instrument of Gath. A Psalm of David. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent [is] Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!

[When You said,] "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek."

But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, "You [are] my God."

He shall cry to Me, 'You [are] my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.'

I will say of the LORD, "[He is] my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

O LORD our God, masters besides You Have had dominion over us; [But] by You only we make mention of Your name.

One will say, 'I [am] the LORD's'; Another will call [himself] by the name of Jacob; Another will write [with] his hand, 'The LORD's,' And name [himself] by the name of Israel.

I will bring the [one-third] through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This [is] My people'; And each one will say, 'The LORD [is] my God.' "

And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

I will not take a bull from your house, [Nor] goats out of your folds.

For every beast of the forest [is] Mine, [And] the cattle on a thousand hills.

"Can a man be profitable to God, Though he who is wise may be profitable to himself?

[Is it] any pleasure to the Almighty that you are righteous? Or [is it] gain [to Him] that you make your ways blameless?

If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand?

Your wickedness affects a man such as you, And your righteousness a son of man.

"So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, 'We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.' "

"Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?"
