But He made His own people go forth like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;

He also brought them out with silver and gold, And [there was] none feeble among His tribes.

And it came to pass, on that very same day, that the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their armies.

And Moses said to the people: "Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out of this [place.] No leavened bread shall be eaten.

Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them [by] way of the land of the Philistines, although that [was] near; for God said, "Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt."

Then Samuel said to the people, "[It is] the LORD who raised up Moses and Aaron, and who brought your fathers up from the land of Egypt.

"When Jacob had gone into Egypt, and your fathers cried out to the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.
