"Now therefore, you [are] cursed, and none of you shall be freed from being slaves -- woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God."

And that day Joshua made them woodcutters and water carriers for the congregation and for the altar of the LORD, in the place which He would choose, even to this day.

And the men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, "Do not forsake your servants; come up to us quickly, save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites who dwell in the mountains have gathered together against us."

He has put a new song in my mouth -- Praise to our God; Many will see [it] and fear, And will trust in the LORD.

My eyes fail [from searching] Your word, Saying, "When will You comfort me?"

My eyes fail [from seeking] Your salvation And Your righteous word.

I [am] Your servant; Give me understanding, That I may know Your testimonies.

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.

My soul [waits] for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning -- [Yes, more than] those who watch for the morning.

And He said, "Let Me go, for the day breaks." But he said, "I will not let You go unless You bless me!"

I have waited for your salvation, O LORD!

The LORD [is] good to those who wait for Him, To the soul [who] seeks Him.

[It is] good that [one] should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD.
