To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Our help [is] in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

Happy [is he] who [has] the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope [is] in the LORD his God,

Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that [is] in them; Who keeps truth forever,

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

He gives power to the weak, And to [those who have] no might He increases strength.

For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'

But the LORD [is] with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. [Their] everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.

" O Israel, you are destroyed, But your help [is] from Me.

So we may boldly say: "The LORD [is] my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
