I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As [much as] in all riches.

Your testimonies also [are] my delight [And] my counselors.

Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.

And I will delight myself in Your commandments, Which I love.

Their heart is as fat as grease, [But] I delight in Your law.

Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; For Your law [is] my delight.

Unless Your law [had been] my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.

I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law [is] within my heart."

For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

"This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"

[then He adds,] "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!

For I have become like a wineskin in smoke, [Yet] I do not forget Your statutes.

I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.

My life [is] continually in my hand, Yet I do not forget Your law.

I [am] small and despised, [Yet] I do not forget Your precepts.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek Your servant, For I do not forget Your commandments.

My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands;

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
