To the Chief Musician. Set to "Do Not Destroy." A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare [that] Your name is near.

You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

The LORD [is] near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

"For what great nation [is there] that has God [so] near to it, as the LORD our God [is] to us, for whatever [reason] we may call upon Him?

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Your testimonies, [which] You have commanded, [Are] righteous and very faithful.

Your righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, And Your law [is] truth.
