Blessed [are] those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!

Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.

I entreated Your favor with [my] whole heart; Be merciful to me according to Your word.

The proud have forged a lie against me, [But] I will keep Your precepts with [my] whole heart.

For their heart was not steadfast with Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant.

Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, "If you return to the LORD with all your hearts, [then] put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines."

And all Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought Him with all their soul; and He was found by them, and the LORD gave them rest all around.

"And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense," says the LORD.

Their heart is divided; Now they are held guilty. He will break down their altars; He will ruin their sacred pillars.

Those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops; Those who worship and swear [oaths] by the LORD, But who [also] swear by Milcom;

Those who have turned back from [following] the LORD, And have not sought the LORD, nor inquired of Him."

" No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

You rebuke the proud -- the cursed, Who stray from Your commandments.

You reject all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceit [is] falsehood.

Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek Your servant, For I do not forget Your commandments.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace [be] upon Israel!

Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

Teach me to do Your will, For You [are] my God; Your Spirit [is] good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

A man who wanders from the way of understanding Will rest in the assembly of the dead.

A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it [shall be] for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.

"My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching [for them."]

They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the [son] of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known [it,] to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
