When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

Many, O LORD my God, [are] Your wonderful works [Which] You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; [If] I would declare and speak [of them,] They are more than can be numbered.

Oh, that [men] would give thanks to the LORD [for] His goodness, And [for] His wonderful works to the children of men!

You alone [are] the LORD; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, And You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You.

Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number.

To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy [endures] forever;

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed [it was] very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens;

By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down the dew.

" The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.

When [there were] no depths I was brought forth, When [there were] no fountains abounding with water.

While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primeval dust of the world.

When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep,

Then I was beside Him [as] a master craftsman; And I was daily [His] delight, Rejoicing always before Him,

" Now therefore, listen to me, [my] children, For blessed [are those who] keep my ways.

Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.

But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death."

He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable [are] His judgments and His ways past finding out!

which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly [places,]

A Psalm of David. The earth [is] the LORD's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

For every beast of the forest [is] Mine, [And] the cattle on a thousand hills.

"If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world [is] Mine, and all its fullness.

You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip [with] abundance.

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb [that] yields seed, [and] the fruit tree [that] yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed [is] in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, the herb [that] yields seed according to its kind, and the tree [that] yields fruit, whose seed [is] in itself according to its kind. And God saw that [it was] good.

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, [each] according to its kind"; and it was so.

And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that [it was] good.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
