How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, [Who] are crushed before a moth?

How much less man, [who is] a maggot, And a son of man, [who is] a worm?"

"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

For you have said, 'My doctrine [is] pure, And I am clean in your eyes.'

But oh, that God would speak, And open His lips against you,

I would present [my] case before Him, And fill my mouth with arguments.

There the upright could reason with Him, And I would be delivered forever from my Judge.
