"Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be vindicated?

Should your empty talk make men hold their peace? And when you mock, should no one rebuke you?

Shall words of wind have an end? Or what provokes you that you answer?

"How long [till] you put an end to words? Gain understanding, and afterward we will speak.

"How long will you torment my soul, And break me in pieces with words?

These ten times you have reproached me; You are not ashamed [that] you have wronged me.

So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him, "Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

Then Pharaoh's servants said to him, "How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God. Do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?"

"How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.

That it would please God to crush me, That He would loose His hand and cut me off!

Do you intend to rebuke [my] words, And the speeches of a desperate one, [which are] as wind?

" Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

"Should a wise man answer with empty knowledge, And fill himself with the east wind?

Then He said, "Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD." And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, [but] the LORD [was] not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, [but] the LORD [was] not in the earthquake;
