So Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, answered and said: "I [am] young in years, and you [are] very old; Therefore I was afraid, And dared not declare my opinion to you.

But [there is] a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.

With Him [are] strength and prudence. The deceived and the deceiver [are] His.

God [is] wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened [himself] against Him and prospered?

"From where then does wisdom come? And where [is] the place of understanding?

Destruction and Death say, 'We have heard a report about it with our ears.'

For He looks to the ends of the earth, [And] sees under the whole heavens,

When He made a law for the rain, And a path for the thunderbolt,

And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom, And to depart from evil [is] understanding.' "

"Behold, God [is] mighty, but despises [no one;] [He is] mighty in strength of understanding.

Great [is] our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding [is] infinite.

For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth [come] knowledge and understanding;

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; [He is] a shield to those who walk uprightly;

He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His.

"for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.

but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Counsel [is] mine, and sound wisdom; I [am] understanding, I have strength.

Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, Or [as] His counselor has taught Him?

With whom did He take counsel, and [who] instructed Him, And taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, And showed Him the way of understanding?

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times [things] that are not [yet] done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,'

"For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor?"

which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
