"Remember now, who [ever] perished being innocent? Or where were the upright [ever] cut off?

[Is] not your wickedness great, And your iniquity without end?

When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.

Teach me [what] I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will do no more'?

" Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways," says the Lord GOD. "Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

"Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [you] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [you] double-minded.

I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Then he said to me, "This [is] the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth: 'Every thief shall be expelled,' according [to] this side of [the scroll;] and, 'Every perjurer shall be expelled,' according [to] that side of it."

"I will send out [the curse,"] says the LORD of hosts; "It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones."
