Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that [there is] none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause."

If He should set His heart on it, [If] He should gather to Himself His Spirit and His breath,

And the man said to me, "Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and fix your mind on everything I show you; for you [were] brought here so that I might show [them] to you. Declare to the house of Israel everything you see."

Not so with My servant Moses; He [is] faithful in all My house.

I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?"

I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

"Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One [in whom] My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

(Now the man Moses [was] very humble, more than all men who [were] on the face of the earth.)

Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the LORD with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did [any] arise like him.

Behold, God will not cast away the blameless, Nor will He uphold the evildoers.

For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good [thing] will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

But the former governors who [were] before me laid burdens on the people, and took from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver. Yes, even their servants bore rule over the people, but I did not do so, because of the fear of God.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: [There is] no fear of God before his eyes.

The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore.

"Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,
