that Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.

Hoshea, Hananiah, Hasshub,

"and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he must give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which [pertains] to the temple, for the city wall, and for the house that I will occupy." And the king granted [them] to me according to the good hand of my God upon me.

Not so with My servant Moses; He [is] faithful in all My house.

My eyes [shall be] on the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me.

So the governors and satraps sought to find [some] charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he [was] faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him.

" Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

"His lord said to him, 'Well [done,] good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

"He who [is] faithful in [what is] least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in [what is] least is unjust also in much.

"And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?

Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

But the former governors who [were] before me laid burdens on the people, and took from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver. Yes, even their servants bore rule over the people, but I did not do so, because of the fear of God.

Then Joseph said to them the third day, "Do this and live, [for] I fear God:

"Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place [such] over them [to be] rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: 'He who rules over men [must be] just, Ruling in the fear of God.

And Ahab had called Obadiah, who [was] in charge of [his] house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly.

"And it shall come to pass, [as soon as] I am gone from you, that the Spirit of the LORD will carry you to a place I do not know; so when I go and tell Ahab, and he cannot find you, he will kill me. But I your servant have feared the LORD from my youth.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.

Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, [And] the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD [is] His treasure.
