Then I perceived that God had not sent him at all, but that he pronounced [this] prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.

Then I sent for Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam, leaders; also for Joiarib and Elnathan, men of understanding.

The hypocrite with [his] mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

"For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
