Jeshua begot Joiakim, Joiakim begot Eliashib, Eliashib begot Joiada,

And at the same time some were appointed over the rooms of the storehouse for the offerings, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them from the fields of the cities the portions specified by the Law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests and Levites who ministered.

And [one] of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, [was] a son-in-law of Sanballat the Horonite; therefore I drove him from me.

Also in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah, and [the letters of] Tobiah came to them.

For many in Judah were pledged to him, because he was the son-in-law of Shechaniah the son of Arah, and his son Jehohanan had married the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah.
