'[For] seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It [is] a sacred assembly, [and] you shall do no customary work [on it.]

"Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there [shall be] a sacred assembly to the LORD your God. You shall do no work [on it.]

Also day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day [there was] a sacred assembly, according to the [prescribed] manner.

Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders [And] all the inhabitants of the land [Into] the house of the LORD your God, And cry out to the LORD.

Then the whole assembly agreed to keep [the feast] another seven days, and they kept it [another] seven days with gladness.

At that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven [more] days -- fourteen days.
