At the turn of the year King Nebuchadnezzar summoned [him] and took him to Babylon, with the costly articles from the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah, [Jehoiakim's] brother, king over Judah and Jerusalem.

And all the articles from the house of God, great and small, the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and of his leaders, all [these] he took to Babylon.

Thus Solomon had all the furnishings made for the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold on which [was] the showbread;

the basins, the trimmers, the bowls, the ladles, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, [both] for the doors of the inner room (the Most Holy [Place) and] for the doors of the main hall of the temple.

And he carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the LORD and the treasures of the king's house, and he cut in pieces all the articles of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.

The bronze pillars that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the carts and the bronze Sea that [were] in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and carried their bronze to Babylon.

The firepans and the basins, the things of solid gold and solid silver, the captain of the guard took away.

King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his gods;

This [is] the number of them: thirty gold platters, one thousand silver platters, twenty-nine knives,

All the articles of gold and silver [were] five thousand four hundred. All [these] Sheshbazzar took with the captives who were brought from Babylon to Jerusalem.

'Within two full years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the LORD's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.

They also took away the pots, the shovels, the trimmers, the bowls, the spoons, and all the bronze utensils with which the priests ministered.

The basins, the firepans, the bowls, the pots, the lampstands, the spoons, and the cups, whatever [was] solid gold and whatever [was] solid silver, the captain of the guard took away.

While he tasted the wine, Belshazzar gave the command to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple which [had been] in Jerusalem, that the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines might drink from them.

Then they brought the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which [had been] in Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them.

"And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who [holds] your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.

But when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to [his] destruction, for he transgressed against the LORD his God by entering the temple of the LORD to burn incense on the altar of incense.

And they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him, "[It is] not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed! You [shall have] no honor from the LORD God."

"You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood.

"And you shall overlay its top, its sides all around, and its horns with pure gold; and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around.

"You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

"Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it.

"You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it.

He made the incense altar of acacia wood. Its length [was] a cubit and its width a cubit -- [it was] square -- and two cubits [was] its height. Its horns were [of one piece] with it.

He made two rings of gold for it under its molding, by its two corners on both sides, as holders for the poles with which to bear it.

He also made the holy anointing oil and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the perfumer.

Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer [it] with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

" You shall also make a table of acacia wood; two cubits [shall be] its length, a cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

"You shall make for it a frame of a handbreadth all around, and you shall make a gold molding for the frame all around.

"The rings shall be close to the frame, as holders for the poles to bear the table.

"You shall make its dishes, its pans, its pitchers, and its bowls for pouring. You shall make them of pure gold.

" And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it. Two-tenths [of an ephah] shall be in each cake.

"And you shall put pure frankincense on [each] row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

And by weight [he gave] gold for the tables of the showbread, for each table, and silver for the tables of silver;
