So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their places, and the Levites in their divisions, according to the king's command.

And the singers, the sons of Asaph, [were] in their places, according to the command of David, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer. Also the gatekeepers were at each gate; they did not have to leave their position, because their brethren the Levites prepared portions for them.

When she looked, there was the king standing by a pillar according to custom; and the leaders and the trumpeters were by the king. All the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets. So Athaliah tore her clothes and cried out, "Treason! Treason!"

Now this [is] the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

And they slaughtered the Passover [offerings;] and the priests sprinkled [the blood] with their hands, while the Levites skinned [the animals.]

'He shall kill the bull before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that [is by] the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
