So Sisera gathered together all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who [were] with him, from Harosheth Hagoyim to the River Kishon.

Then the Philistines gathered together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which [is] on the seashore in multitude. And they came up and encamped in Michmash, to the east of Beth Aven.

Then the Syrians fled before Israel; and David killed seven hundred charioteers and forty thousand horsemen of the Syrians, and struck Shobach the commander of their army, who died there.

Then Zerah the Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots, and he came to Mareshah.

For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it.

Now the number of the army of the horsemen [was] two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

"Were the Ethiopians and the Lubim not a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet, because you relied on the LORD, He delivered them into your hand.

"Ethiopia, Libya, Lydia, all the mingled people, Chub, and the men of the lands who are allied, shall fall with them by the sword."

Ethiopia and Egypt [were] her strength, And [it was] boundless; Put and Lubim were your helpers.

So the LORD struck the Ethiopians before Asa and Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.

"Were the Ethiopians and the Lubim not a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet, because you relied on the LORD, He delivered them into your hand.

For I [am] the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

"He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians [shall follow] at his heels.

Ethiopia and Egypt [were] her strength, And [it was] boundless; Put and Lubim were your helpers.

The sons of Ham [were] Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.
