that the cities which Hiram had given to Solomon, Solomon built them; and he settled the children of Israel there.

He also built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the storage cities which he built in Hamath.

also Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities and the cities of the cavalry, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

And he built fortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest; he had no war in those years, because the LORD had given him rest.

Therefore he said to Judah, "Let us build these cities and make walls around [them,] and towers, gates, and bars, [while] the land [is] yet before us, because we have sought the LORD our God; we have sought [Him,] and He has given us rest on every side." So they built and prospered.

So Jehoshaphat became increasingly powerful, and he built fortresses and storage cities in Judah.

You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, And the houses you broke down To fortify the wall.
