The sons of Perez [were] Hezron and Hamul.

Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram.

[the son] of Amminadab, [the son] of Ram, [the son] of Hezron, [the son] of Perez, [the son] of Judah,

Also the sons of Hezron who were born to him [were] Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

Caleb the son of Hezron had children by Azubah, [his] wife, and by Jerioth. Now these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
