Of the sons of Izhar, Shelomith [was] the first.

The sons of Izhar [were] Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.

And the sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

From Kohath [came] the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites; these [were] the families of the Kohathites.

Of the sons of Izhar, Shelomith [was] the first.

This Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasuries of the dedicated things which King David and the heads of fathers' [houses,] the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the army, had dedicated.
