"And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go [to be] with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

"And of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

'Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to observe My commandments and My judgments, as it is this day.'

" When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

"He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Judah and Israel [were] as numerous as the sand by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side; [there is] neither adversary nor evil occurrence.

In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of [His] government and peace [There will be] no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Then David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in to her and lay with her. So she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon. Now the LORD loved him,

and He sent [word] by the hand of Nathan the prophet: So he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.

So Gideon built an altar there to the LORD, and called it The-LORD-[Is-Peace.] To this day it [is] still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

When He gives quietness, who then can make trouble? And when He hides [His] face, who then can see Him, Whether [it is] against a nation or a man alone? --

LORD, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us.

I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these [things.']

"I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to [him who is] far off and to [him who is] near," Says the LORD, "And I will heal him."

For thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On [her] sides shall you be carried, And be dandled on [her] knees.

'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the LORD of hosts."
