And David said to Solomon: "My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house to the name of the LORD my God;

Then King David rose to his feet and said, "Hear me, my brethren and my people: I [had] it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made preparations to build it.

Then the men of Israel took some of their provisions; but they did not ask counsel of the LORD.

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For [the] [Lord does] not [see] as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

May He grant you according to your heart's [desire,] And fulfill all your purpose.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

"And let it be, when these signs come to you, [that] you do as the occasion demands; for God [is] with you.

Then Nathan said to the king, "Go, do all that [is] in your heart, for the LORD [is] with you."

"Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard [that] God [is] with you." ' "

And having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored [one,] the Lord [is] with you; blessed [are] you among women!"
