But who [am] I, and who [are] my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things [come] from You, And of Your own we have given You.

Then Samuel took a stone and set [it] up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the LORD has helped us."

"Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come --

To the one [we are] the aroma of death [leading] to death, and to the other the aroma of life [leading] to life. And who [is] sufficient for these things?

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as [being] from ourselves, but our sufficiency [is] from God,

And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep.

I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will pay You my vows,

I will offer You burnt sacrifices of fat animals, With the sweet aroma of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah

Then Balaam said to Balak, "Build seven altars for me here, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams."

And Balak did just as Balaam had spoken, and Balak and Balaam offered a bull and a ram on [each] altar.

And God met Balaam, and he said to Him, "I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on [each] altar a bull and a ram."

Then Balaam said to Balak, "Build for me here seven altars, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams."

' On the seventh day [present] seven bulls, two rams, [and] fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,

"Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you [according to your] folly; because you have not spoken of Me [what is] right, as My servant Job [has."]

"On the seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven bulls and seven rams without blemish, daily for seven days, and a kid of the goats daily [for] a sin offering.
