"But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year."

And He said, "I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son." (Sarah was listening in the tent door which [was] behind him.)

"Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

"And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be [a mother of] nations; kings of peoples shall be from her."

Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, "Shall [a child] be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear [a child?"]

But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

"And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.

Then the men of the city said to Elisha, "Please notice, the situation of this city [is] pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water [is] bad, and the ground barren."

So she said, "Did I ask a son of my lord? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?"

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and [you shall] be clean."

But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, "Indeed, I said to myself, 'He will surely come out [to me,] and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.'

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?"

"Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

So she said to Elijah, "What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to kill my son?"

So he said, "How have I sinned, that you are delivering your servant into the hand of Ahab, to kill me?

I said in my haste, "All men [are] liars."

And Zacharias said to the angel, "How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years."

"But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time."
