Then Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother." But the king of Israel said to him, "No, for the LORD has called these three kings [together] to deliver them into the hand of Moab."

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to fight, or shall I refrain?" So they said, "Go up, for the Lord will deliver [it] into the hand of the king."

Then Jehu gathered all the people together, and said to them, "Ahab served Baal a little, Jehu will serve him much.

Will you speak wickedly for God, And talk deceitfully for Him?

A man who flatters his neighbor Spreads a net for his feet.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

But be that [as it may,] I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning!

I urged Titus, and sent our brother with [him.] Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did [we] not [walk] in the same steps?

For our exhortation [did] not [come] from error or uncleanness, nor [was it] in deceit.
