"Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.

LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear,

[But] certainly God has heard [me;] He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

I love the LORD, because He has heard My voice [and] my supplications.

"At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell [you,] for you [are] greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision:

"And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said [this,] that they may believe that You sent Me."

"and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy [place,] that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

For [in] six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that [is] in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

"The censers of these men who sinned against their own souls, let them be made into hammered plates as a covering for the altar. Because they presented them before the LORD, therefore they are holy; and they shall be a sign to the children of Israel."

"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

"that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, 'My name shall be there,' that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.

"But you shall seek the place where the LORD your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His dwelling place; and there you shall go.

"then there will be the place where the LORD your God chooses to make His name abide. There you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow to the LORD.

"If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, then you may slaughter from your herd and from your flock which the LORD has given you, just as I have commanded you, and you may eat within your gates as much as your heart desires.

"You shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who [is] within your gates, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who [are] among you, at the place where the LORD your God chooses to make His name abide.

"a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God [are] always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.

"Now, my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and [let] Your ears [be] attentive to the prayer [made] in this place.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer [made] in this place.

"For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired [it] for His dwelling place:

"This [is] My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

You have ravished my heart, My sister, [my] spouse; You have ravished my heart With one [look] of your eyes, With one link of your necklace.

How fair is your love, My sister, [my] spouse! How much better than wine is your love, And the scent of your perfumes Than all spices!

Then the LORD said to me, "[Even] if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind [would] not [be] favorable toward this people. Cast [them] out of My sight, and let them go forth.
