Against the wall of the temple he built chambers all around, [against] the walls of the temple, all around the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. Thus he made side chambers all around it.

And he prepared the inner sanctuary inside the temple, to set the ark of the covenant of the LORD there.

The inner sanctuary [was] twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high. He overlaid it with pure gold, and overlaid the altar of cedar.

Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy [Place,] under the wings of the cherubim.

"You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

"And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which [are] on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

"And you shall also make two boards for the two back corners of the tabernacle.

and the LORD said to Moses: "Tell Aaron your brother not to come at [just] any time into the Holy [Place] inside the veil, before the mercy seat which [is] on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

And he made the Most Holy Place. Its length was according to the width of the house, twenty cubits, and its width twenty cubits. He overlaid it with six hundred talents of fine gold.

"So this is the district you shall measure: twenty-five thousand [cubits] long and ten thousand wide; in it shall be the sanctuary, the Most Holy [Place.]

and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,
