"Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the LORD has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteousness."

Then Hiram king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon: Because the LORD loves His people, He has made you king over them.

Hiram also said: Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, for He has given King David a wise son, endowed with prudence and understanding, who will build a temple for the LORD and a royal house for himself!

"Happy [are] your men and happy [are] these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom!

"Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on His throne [to be] king for the LORD your God! Because your God has loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness."

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you.

Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces."

If I do not remember you, Let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth -- If I do not exalt Jerusalem Above my chief joy.

"Also the king said thus, 'Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, who has given [one] to sit on my throne this day, while my eyes see [it!'] "

And he lifted his eyes and saw the women and children, and said, "Who [are] these with you?" So he said, "The children whom God has graciously given your servant."

Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! [We are] for signs and wonders in Israel From the LORD of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

"Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"

Then Hiram king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon: Because the LORD loves His people, He has made you king over them.

The Proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son [is] the grief of his mother.

A wise son [heeds] his father's instruction, But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish man despises his mother.

The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who begets a wise [child] will delight in him.
