Then it came to pass, in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went down to [visit] the king of Israel.

Solomon's son [was] Rehoboam; Abijah [was] his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

Then Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place, and strengthened himself against Israel.

So Jehoshaphat was king over Judah. [He was] thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother's name [was] Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
