Then King Asa took all Judah, and they carried away the stones and timber of Ramah, which Baasha had used for building; and with them he built Geba and Mizpah.

Chephar Haammoni, Ophni, and Gaba: twelve cities with their villages;

and from the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its common-land, Geba with its common-land,

Mizpah, Chephirah, Mozah,

And Samuel said, "Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the LORD for you."

Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, to Mizpah, and dwelt with him among the people who were left in the land.

"As for me, I will indeed dwell at Mizpah and serve the Chaldeans who come to us. But you, gather wine and summer fruit and oil, put [them] in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that you have taken."
