You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; [Are they] not in Your book?

They wander up and down for food, And howl if they are not satisfied.

They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, But shall not find [it.]

They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented --

of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, [in] dens and caves of the earth.

So David and his men, about six hundred, arose and departed from Keilah and went wherever they could go. Then it was told Saul that David had escaped from Keilah; so he halted the expedition.

"And now may the LORD show kindness and truth to you. I also will repay you this kindness, because you have done this thing.

All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.

He shall abide before God forever. Oh, prepare mercy and truth, [which] may preserve him!

Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.

Righteousness and justice [are] the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.

Do they not go astray who devise evil? But mercy and truth [belong] to those who devise good.

For the law was given through Moses, [but] grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;

The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day -- and you know very well how many ways he ministered [to me] at Ephesus.
