Then the LORD said to him, "Peace [be] with you; do not fear, you shall not die."

And the old man said, "Peace [be] with you! However, [let] all your needs [be] my responsibility; only do not spend the night in the open square."

"And thus you shall say to him who lives [in prosperity:] 'Peace [be] to you, peace to your house, and peace to all that you have!

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, [and he said:] "[We are] yours, O David; We [are] on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you." So David received them, and made them captains of the troop.

The king sent an answer: To Rehum the commander, [to] Shimshai the scribe, [to] the rest of their companions who dwell in Samaria, and [to] the remainder beyond the River: Peace, and so forth.

"But whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace to this house.'

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, "Peace to you."

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Then, the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace [be] with you."

So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."

And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!"

"And may God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may release your other brother and Benjamin. If I am bereaved, I am bereaved!"

And he turned himself away from them and wept. Then he returned to them again, and talked with them. And he took Simeon from them and bound him before their eyes.

And Jacob their father said to them, "You have bereaved me: Joseph is no [more,] Simeon is no [more,] and you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me."
