These [were] the years of the life of Ishmael: one hundred and thirty-seven years; and he breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people.

And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni; but his father called him Benjamin.

And when Jacob had finished commanding his sons, he drew his feet up into the bed and breathed his last, and was gathered to his people.

Now Gideon the son of Joash died at a good old age, and was buried in the tomb of Joash his father, in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

So he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

You shall come to the grave at a full age, As a sheaf of grain ripens in its season.

So Job died, old and full of days.

The glory of young men [is] their strength, And the splendor of old men [is] their gray head.

Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD. I am weary of holding [it] in. "I will pour it out on the children outside, And on the assembly of young men together; For even the husband shall be taken with the wife, The aged with [him who is] full of days.

This [is] the sum of the years of Abraham's life which he lived: one hundred and seventy-five years.

When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the LORD nor the work which He had done for Israel.

"For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;
