There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.

Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and departed, for all his master's goods [were in] his hand. And he arose and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.

[Is it] not You, O God, [who] cast us off? And You, O God, [who] did not go out with our armies?

Through God we will do valiantly, For [it is] He [who] shall tread down our enemies.
