And he said: "Blessed [be] the LORD, The God of Shem, And may Canaan be his servant.

And he said, "Blessed [be] the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren."

Blessed [be] the Lord, [Who] daily loads us [with benefits,] The God of our salvation! Selah

His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And [men] shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.

And blessed [be] His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled [with] His glory. Amen and Amen.

A Psalm of David. Blessed [be] the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, [And] my fingers for battle --

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ,

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

All these kings and their land Joshua took at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.

For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.

"And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God's house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You."

'And all the tithe of the land, [whether] of the seed of the land [or] of the fruit of the tree, [is] the LORD's. It [is] holy to the LORD.

'And concerning the tithe of the herd or the flock, of whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the LORD.

' Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the LORD at your [Feast of] Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

"You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain or your new wine or your oil, of the firstborn of your herd or your flock, of any of your offerings which you vow, of your freewill offerings, or of the heave offering of your hand.

"And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always.

" At the end of [every] third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store [it] up within your gates.

As soon as the commandment was circulated, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything.

And the children of Israel and Judah, who dwelt in the cities of Judah, brought the tithe of oxen and sheep; also the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to the LORD their God they laid in heaps.

Then they faithfully brought in the offerings, the tithes, and the dedicated things; Cononiah the Levite had charge of them, and Shimei his brother [was] the next.

to bring the firstfruits of our dough, our offerings, the fruit from all kinds of trees, [the] new wine and oil, to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God; and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities.

Then all Judah brought the tithe of the grain and the new wine and the oil to the storehouse.

" Come to Bethel and transgress, At Gilgal multiply transgression; Bring your sacrifices every morning, Your tithes every three days.

"Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you [such] blessing That [there will] not [be room] enough [to receive it.]

'I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.'

that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Now consider how great this man [was,] to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils.

but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.

Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he [receives them,] of whom it is witnessed that he lives.
