And Judah went up, and Jehovah delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand; and they struck ten thousand men at Bezek.

And they found Adoni-Bezek in Bezek, and fought against him; and they struck the Canaanites and the Perizzites.

And Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people found with him, about six hundred men.

So Saul gathered the people together and mustered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.

And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to the king. And there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

So Jehoshaphat went on to become highly magnified, and he built fortresses and storage cities in Judah.

These are their numbers, according to their fathers' houses. Of Judah, the commanders of thousands: Adnah the commander, and with him three hundred thousand mighty men of valor;

and next to him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto Jehovah, and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.

and next to him was Jehozabad, and with him one hundred and eighty thousand prepared for war.
