Love is longsuffering and is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast itself, is not puffed up;

does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you are not consumed by one another.

fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or self-glory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others as surpassing himself.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

for the wrath of man does not bring about the righteousness of God.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show his works out of good conduct, in the meekness of wisdom.

This wisdom does not come down from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, fair, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

And the Angel of Jehovah came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon was threshing wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from before the Midianites.

And the Spirit of Jehovah clothed Gideon; and he blew the shofar, and the Abiezrites assembled behind him.
