Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

Then the sons of Judah came to Joshua in Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him: You know the word which Jehovah had spoken to Moses the man of God concerning you and me in Kadesh Barnea.

And a man of God came to Eli and said to him, Thus says Jehovah: Have I not revealed to show Myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?

And he said to him, Behold now, there is a man of God in this city, and he is an honorable man; all that he speaks succeeds to come to pass. Now let us go there; perhaps he can show us the way that we should go.

So she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my iniquity to remembrance, and to kill my son?

Then the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the Word of Jehovah in your mouth is truth.

And she said to her husband, Behold now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us continually.

And he said, At the appointed time according to the time of life you shall embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

And as He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe was blindingly white.

And all who sat in the council, gazing at him, saw his face as if it were the face of an angel.

And Manoah said to his wife, We shall die the death, because we have seen God!

And Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I did not realize it.

And he was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of Heaven!

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. And he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.

Moreover He said, I am the God of your fathers; the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

And he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was afraid and fell on my face. But he said to me, O son of man, understand that the vision is about the time of the end.

then I lifted up my eyes and looked: And behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold from Uphaz.

And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you and stand up, for I am now sent to you. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood, trembling.

And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not be terrified; I am the First and the Last.

And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is Your name, that when Your words come to pass we may honor You?

And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Why do you ask after My name, seeing it is incomprehensible?

And Jacob asked, saying, Please tell me Your name. And He said, Why is it that you ask about My name? And He blessed him there.

And the angel answered and said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.
