And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

And the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it; and the Lamb is its light.

And there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

And Jehovah will create over all the foundation of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen upon you.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but Jehovah shall arise over you, and His glory shall be seen upon you.

The sun shall no more be your light by day; nor the brightness of the moon give light to you; but Jehovah will be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.

And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

And above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it.

You have been in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created.

You were the anointed cherub that covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.

By the abundance of your trading they filled your midst with violence, and you sinned; therefore I cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones.

And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like pure glass.

Before the throne there was a glassy sea, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

And he showed me a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, going forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Neither gold nor crystal can be compared to it, nor can it be exchanged for articles of fine gold.

The likeness of the expanse above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out above over their heads.
