I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them to be liars;

I know your works, affliction, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

If I were to speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

And if I were to bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I were to give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;

covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also desire to see you;

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.

with godliness brotherly affection, and with brotherly affection love.

and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored on account of My name and have not become weary.

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Yet the righteous will take hold on his way, and he who has clean hands shall increase strength.

They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and luxuriant;

But the path of the just is as the brightness of dawn, that keeps getting brighter until it is fully daytime.

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
