And his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, in order to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

And she bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught away to God and His throne.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.

The wicked have drawn out the sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slaughter those who walk uprightly.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction; but be of good courage, I have overcome the world.
