And I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, having been sealed with seven seals.

And no one in Heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look upon it.

But one of the elders said to me, Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loosen its seven seals.

Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, Come and see.

When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come and see.

And when I looked, behold, there was a hand stretched out to me; and lo, a scroll of a book was in it.

And He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.

And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to Heaven

And the voice which I heard from Heaven spoke to me again and said, Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.

Ask of Me, and I will give the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.

By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation; You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth and the sea, of those far away.

By me kings reign, and judges decree justice.

Rulers and nobles rule by me; even all the judges of the earth.

So shall they fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Jehovah shall drive him out.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and on earth.

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,

And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
