But the ruler of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days. But, lo, Michael, one of the chief rulers, came to help me; for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.

But I will tell you what is written in the Scripture of Truth. (And no one holds strong with me in these things, except Michael your ruler.

And at that time, Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as has not been since there was a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the Book.

And war broke out in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shouted command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.

You shall not curse God, nor curse a chief of your people.

Then Rabshakeh stood and called out with a loud voice in the Jewish language and said, Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!

Nor let Hezekiah make you trust in Jehovah, saying, Jehovah will deliver, to rescue us; this city shall not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria!

until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and fresh wine, a land of bread and vineyards!

Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Indeed, have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

But they kept silent and did not answer him a word, for the king's command said, Do not answer him.

And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,

And one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, Do you not fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, in order that you may inherit blessing.

Whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers see it and judge.

And they said to him, Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble and of rebuke and of blasphemy! For the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to bring forth.

It may be that Jehovah your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which Jehovah your God has heard. Therefore, lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.

Thus you shall say to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Do not let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Have the gods of the nations delivered those whom my fathers have destroyed: Gozan and Haran and Rezeph, and the sons of Eden who were in Telassar?

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messenger, and read it. And Hezekiah went up into the house of Jehovah and spread it before Jehovah.

O Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made the heavens and the earth.

Truly, O Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands,

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are Jehovah, You alone.

And Jehovah said to Satan, Jehovah rebuke you, Satan! Even Jehovah who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked out of the fire?
