And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him, and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then I will kill my brother Jacob.

You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the blood of your neighbor: I am Jehovah.

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Jehovah.

And Absalom spoke to his brother Amnon neither good nor bad. For Absalom hated Amnon, because he had humbled his sister Tamar.

And Absalom came to the king and said, Behold, your servant has sheepshearers; please, let the king and his servants go with your servant.

Then Absalom said, If not, please let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said to him, Why should he go with you?

Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Watch now, when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say to you, Strike Amnon! then kill him. Do not be afraid. Have I not commanded you? Be courageous and valiant.

He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself.

He whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be disclosed before the assembly.

You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Empty head! shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, You fool! shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, prostitutes, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
