Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in Heaven.

for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry.

It was right that we should make merry and rejoice, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death unto life.

And you being dead in trespasses and sins,

even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),

He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is nothing in him to cause stumbling.

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born from God and knows God.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God also loves his brother.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

As for the saints who are on the earth, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.

And the King will answer and say to them, Truly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.

By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love mutually with one another.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I love you.

These things I command you, that you love one another.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;

But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

For God is not unjust, to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end,

Let brotherly love continue.

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,

Finally, all of you be of one mind, sympathetic; loving the brothers, be tenderhearted, be kind;

with godliness brotherly affection, and with brotherly affection love.

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love God whom he has not seen?

The man who wanders out of the way of understanding shall rest in the assembly of the spirits of the dead.
